If we were looking for cross compatibility with Sun's internal defect tracking, we could easily use the same alias for both (just so both fields were propogated). And in reality, a lot of the opensolaris projects will still have sun internal managers associated with them, particularly after integration (if we're planning on supporting the sw - but I have no idea how that is going to work out, or who is looking into that) Valerie -- Valerie Fenwick, http://blogs.sun.com/bubbva Solaris Security Technologies, Developer, Sun Microsystems, Inc. 17 Network Circle, Menlo Park, CA, 94025. 650-786-0461 _______________________________________________ tools-discuss mailing list tools-discuss@opensolaris.org
