Paul;  The modes in Form layout should do the following:

Form Mode (general): This will change the layout for both Composer and
Ensemble
EditForm Mode (for TopBraidLive only): This will change the layout for
Composer, but not Ensemble
SearchForm Mode (for TopBraidLive only): This will change the layout
of the search form in Ensemble

Unfortunately, the EditForm does not work right now.  It does as you
observe, change both Composer and Ensemble.  This will be fixed in a
subsequent version.
