Paul; It's not entirely clear what you are trying to do, so I'll take
some guesses.

The properties shown in the form by default are those that specify the
resources type (class) in the property's range.  The properties you
see may be different than, for example, Figure 13 of the manual.

On customizing the editing form -  do you mean customizing via Form
Layout in Composer-ME?  Each form customization applies to a class, so
if a 'narrower' term is in a different class, its layout will be
different.
