<One of the tables does contain a BLOB, does this matter?>

This does occur on database that do not have blobs, so it may not
matter. The problem seems to be on mapping foreign key (association)
tables to object properties.

<As the log error seems to generate an error from an eclipse hyperlink
detector, would there be any value in a re-install of eclipse/tbc?>

It may not help but it won't hurt. Let us know anything you find out.

<I will also carryout an install on to my Linux workstation and see if
the problem occurs (when used from) there as well.>

Let us know the result and thank you for your help and patience!
