You are right, it is an Eclipse issue.   And it is really not a big  
issue.   I use two IDE's, NetBeans for Java development and Eclipse  
running TBC.  Both IDE workspaces point at the same TBC projects, so  
if I alter the physical file structure, I have to re-orient both  
workspaces.  NetBeans allows me to directly edit the project  
locations, whereas TBC Eclipse does not (unless you want to get  
intimate with the .metadata/plugins directory).  Next time I do this,  
I will do the re-org from inside Eclipse/TBC using the 'Move' command  
and then edit the NetBeans side (instead of re-organizing the file  
system)

Eclipse cannot open a project that has been moved somewhere else.
