Jena SDB over RDBMS is intended for users who have existing relational on a server which they want to use as RDF storage. Users who don't have this requirement and just want to quickly create an RDF database could you use TDB. >From your perspective, what needs would be served by an embedded SQL database which are already not met by TDB?
