Irene, I am in both situations with Derby: I have an as-is situation that has a Derby database created by an existing prototype application and need to shoe-horn semantics into it, and a to-be situation in which the tables are turned and the Derby database is created as an SDB triple store, and then the SQL tables are added. I am currently creating and manipulating the Derby SDB triple store using Jena, and it would be nice to be able to directly create, view, update, delete, query and map Derby instances from TBC as part of the development/testing process, but this is a minor issue, I have work-arounds, and I do not expect any action on this from TopQuadrant.
