Jonas; Can you send the full log for the error message you get. Also, what version of SQL server drivers are you using.
It could work to install the driver at the application server level. For Tomcat (TBL, EVN, etc.) copy the jar in the lib folder of the Tomcat installation and re-start Tomcat.
