I have a MacBook Pro and an iMac and it’s working fine on both. I just re-downloaded (both Firefox and Safari which behaved differently) on my MacBook and started the app fine. So, the file on the server at least seems to be ok right now.
I do recall occasional problems with the security control on the new OS X - perhaps temporarily turn that off and see if it starts? You can also right-click on the app and Show Package Contents to see what’s inside.
