Indeed. Thank you Steve! > For a (still quite a) newbie like myself (plus coming from the Windows side), > it is a bit difficult to be helpful here, since there are quite a couple of > things I don't know enough about. Then again, this _is_ about Windows packaging, so why not give it a try? When I read Steve's plea for help, you were the first to come to my mind. :) > On the other hand, it is also sometimes difficult to know what is wanted and > what is not wanted on the thg project. I guess that would give you some leeway to ensure you can release something you're proud of (which I think is essential). Anyhow, unless someone more suited to the task - like you, Adrian - steps in, I'd be ready to look into taking over from Steve. I think it's a crucial part of furthering Hg adoption on Windows. I have little experience with TortoiseHg on Windows yet, and am not an old hand at Python either. So there would be quite a ramp up. On the other hand, I have a lot of experience developing on and for Windows, even though I favour Linux these days. -parren ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by the 2008 JavaOne(SM) Conference Don't miss this year's exciting event.
