This morning, Windows XP asked me to reboot after a Windows update. When I logged back in, I found that all of my Desktop icons had green checkboxes over them (i.e., the TortoiseHg overlays).
I'm running TortoiseHg 0.5. If I go to my Desktop folder via the Explorer, I also see the overlay icons. However, if I right-click on the folder and go to the TortoiseHg context menu, it doesn't give me any repo options. That is, the context menu acts like there is no repo there. The context menu is acting properly, but the overlay icons are not. There is no .hg directory in my Desktop. Additionally, if I go up a folder (to my "home" directory), there is no .hg directory AND no overlay icons. For some reason, Tortoise wants to put overlay icons on my Desktop. I've tried logging out and back in, and that doesn't help.
