Fair point, it feels rushed right now. The x64 support landed pretty late and we're still working through all it's implications. We haven't done RC releases since 0.4. Please test a preview, whatever you want to call it :) Rest assured I'll be following the same schedule as before, making stable point releases at least once a month. Though I am entertaining the idea of following hg-stable for the point releases instead of sticking to the latest hg release tag.
