Indeed, a lot of people have made substantial contributions to this release.

Fair point, it feels rushed right now.  The x64 support landed pretty
late and we're still working through all it's implications.   We
haven't done RC releases since 0.4.  Please test a preview, whatever
you want to call it :)

Rest assured I'll be following the same schedule as before, making
stable point releases at least once a month.  Though I am entertaining
the idea of following hg-stable for the point releases instead of
sticking to the latest hg release tag.  Seems counter-productive to
not pull in bug fixes.
