Hey NoW!
Absolutely true and here here!
I for one feel the good ship Madness will now grind to
a halt.We will get another single (my tip
Communicator/Elsium) double A-side and the xmas tour.
judging by Lee's recent thoughts that'll be it after
new years, although i feel Madstock 2000 will
definitly round it all off. Yes it has been a superb
comeback for the band artisically, but from a sheer
publicity and record sales view it has been a disaster
(bar the success of lovestruck). I know the band
themselves are happy with this new stuff, and I along
with the rest of the Madness hardcore are too and dead
proud, yet it is dissappointing that this has not been
acknowledged in sales figures.
The PR has been farcical and only for the TMML and the
web itself, the average fan would be in the dark.
questions have to be asked I agree and blame should be
dealt with, yet at the end of the day I bet the band
will feel a little pissed off at this (along with
Radio1 and woolworths bias aginst them).
Such a pity for such a great band.
All the best
Vince!
