Actually, Jim, I was chatting with one Carl Smyth a
few weeks ago about Lovestruck, JTH, publicity or lack
thereof and charts. I told him that we were afraid
that a less than stellar chart appearance would be
misconstrued by the band as lack of interest on the
public's part and that I hoped he could see from the
public's interest in the last year or so both in the
U.S. & UK that this could not be farther from the
truth.
His reply:

Listen well.......for me it is a chart thing which is
not the
main thing...as newton said what is created can not
bedestroyed ...so its
just another signpost in the life of me and
madness..when you look back in
time it makes sense so meanwhile i am having a Jolly
Good Time with me and
mine.... Charts farts and f*** [my editing, not his,
don't want this bouncing] me gently.....I am doing
it because i have beeen doing it for sooo long and i
love it

So they won't sell in Backstreet Boys-like numbers.
We wouldn't really want that, would we? The best
stuff is never appreciated THAT widely. As long as
it's viable for them to continue on, I think they
will. I predict: there WILL be another album, mark my
words (even if it's a tie-in to Madstock 2020...).
