but while I agree with whoever mentioned Madonna (man, I pride myself in
being a total 80s buff so I still don't know how I forgot all about her!) I
still feel that as solo artists in the 80s go, the man from Wales who took
Tom Jones' mantle -- Shakin' Stevens -- would be #2 after her in the UK ~~
