My friend Julie was telling me that when she took my best friend Jason
(who is now her husband, inspite of this story) home to meet her family
for the first time they went for a walk in a nearby field, green grass,
flowers, no people in sight - very romantic, It started to rain and they
ran under a large oak tree where they were relatively protected from the
downpour. They heard a clap of thunder, saw a flash of lightening and
Jason put his arms around her and she thought this is it - he's going to
ask her to marry him. He gazed deeply into her eyes...and began a very
technical explaination of the cause of lightening.
Don't know what made me think of this story. ;)
And as I remember it...at the Dublin Castle, Chris C-P left his bag of
Madness items in my care while he stepped out for a moment and upon
hearing about the MC single Peter all but ripped the bag entrusted to me
out of my hands and refused to part with the disk until Chris came back
and agreed to sell it to him! ;)
And while we're discussing rareities (I have the 12" of both Grey Day and
DQMOT, and the MC picture disk, heheh) how rare is the alternate (Lee
with 2 noses) cover of Absolutly, really. I have it, but I've heard
varying reports on how easy (or not) it is to find.
