Madness are in the process of rectifying our abysmal attempt of a website by
reclaiming it and updating it and also by having a permanent person looking
after it . It will I hope be returning to the original look and personalized
approach we had when we first started the site.
I will be proposing to the others in the band that we have some kind of inner
fan club on the site which will be able to obtain rarities purely for their
own consumption and will be trying to make this available at no cost....of
course it may be that our legal obligations to our Record co and publisher
mean we have to charge to cover their cut but I think you know i speak the
truth when I say that Madness have always tried to give value for money and
repect our fans.
Some of the material on " First Step Beyond" and" Lost CD" have never seen
the light of day and is unpublished and therefore two sets of lyrics are my
property and I do not take kindly to people stealing from me ....full stop.
I hope that this is clear and those of you out there who have infringed my
rights without permission will have the full weight of the law on their backs
shortly. I reccomend that all bootleggers cease and desist immediately.
I await your comments.
