Title:
Audio doesn't work after boot from Windows

Status in pulseaudio package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:

For some reason my audio doesn't function after I boot into Windows 7.
  I'm running a dual-boot system with Win7 and Ubuntu 12.10.

Ubuntu does not start pulseaudio on boot. I press alt+F2 to run
pulseaudio and audio begins to work. Then when I restart the computer
and log into Win7 then shut down and revisit Ubuntu 12.10 my audio
doesn't work even after starting pulseaudio.

  Output of lspci:

  Aspire:~$ lspci | grep Audio
00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 6 Series/C200 Series Chipset Family
High Definition Audio Controller (rev 04)

  Output of aplay -l

  Aspire:~$ aplay -l
