There has been a new upload of apt to utopic that should resolve this
issue.

  1. From <http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-desktop-next/daily-live/current/>, 
boot any Lubuntu Alternate or Ubuntu Server image.
  2. Follow <http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/testcases/1437/info> test-case.

  EXPECTED BEHAVIOUR
  The installation to finish successfully.

  REAL BEHAVIOUR
  The installer can't find a kernel to install, as seen in the attached 
screen-shot.

  DistroRelease: Ubuntu 14.10
