the BusyBox prompt offers no access to apt/dpkg tools, at least not that i'm aware of. unfortunately, the whole d-i process is kind of a mystery to me. so i'm not sure what to do as far as testing in situ is concerned.
as soon as d-i is rebuilt, i'll get Lubuntu Alternate images rebuilt so we can test with the new apt on the image already. hopefully the release manager for Ubuntu Server can get the same going on. i encourage everyone to check the .list file for /pool/main/a/apt/apt_1.0.9.2ubuntu2_*.deb before you test e.g. you can see with the old one (http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/lubuntu/daily/20141016 /utopic-alternate-i386.list) that it's 1.09.2ubuntu1 that's listed. you don't want that. don't bother testing it. needless to say, it will be 20141017 you need! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to apt in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1380774 Title: debian-installer does not find kernel Status in APT: Fix Released Status in “apt” package in Ubuntu: Triaged Status in “apt” source package in Utopic: Triaged Bug description: HOW TO REPRODUCE 1.
