I've just been trying a couple of older WD Passport drives - a 160GB and a 60GB. I did manage to get the 160GB to connect, scan and play music - once. But after I rebooted the Touch the drive then went into what looked like a continuous power up/down cycle - no matter what I did. The 60 never worked at all.
I've also tried a couple of small (1GB, 2GB) USB memory sticks and they work fine. Steve. -- SteveEast 3*SB3, 1*Boom, 4*Radio, 1*Touch (soon).
