I just received my Touch and I am trying to scan the files on my USB hard drive but getting the same error you are. I have tried it several times and the same error message is displayed. The first try was my best and I got all the way to scanning my album art before it stopped. I was also wondering if it had anything to do with the other non-music files on the hard drive. Does anybody know if there is a way to specify which folder on the hard drive is scanned?
