Funny but you guys have my same setup as I do only I haven't connected my hhd yet until I have the rest of my audio system setup complete. My Touch arrived early last week and been mostly using my NAS, an SD card or internet radio.
I'd be curious to see how the WD Essential Hard Drive powers down when the Touch is in standby too. And obviously startup again after sleep mode. Maybe after this weekend I can contribute to this thread.
