I bought a quite cheap replacement linear PSU for about 40$, it is possible to change output voltage and connector with the one I purchased. Therefore I could easily change from 9V used by Receiver to the 5V required by the Touch. I do not know why I hear an improvement. In fact I did not expect to hear one.
