Hi. I realise this is not an official support channel but nontheless - this is a pre-purchase question. Will playback of high res material (up to 24/96) be fixed on the Touch? By fixes I mean brought to perform without any breakups. External server requirement is OK with me, but wireless should work, nor should it be necessary to close down processes (on the Touch) that would otherwise normally run.
Realising such a guarantee is much to ask, alternatively, is attempting to fix this a fairly high priority. I've followed the thread on 24/96 playback issues and solutions. It doesn't provide a clear answer to this.
