I would tend to agree with Jim. Rebuffering tends to be a WiFi/Network issue. The drive is attached directly to the Touch, what is there to buffer? What compression did you use when you ripped the CDs to FLAC? Are the problem files 24/96 or just any old file? How full is the drive? The Touch needs some working space on the hard drive so if its filled completely up with music its going to be a problem. One last thing I have noticed with the larger USB drives, it seems it is best to wait for it to say its completed doing all scanning before using the Touch. Might have nothing to do with anything, but I have had best results doing that. Just go to Settings>Advanced>Squeezebox Server and wait until it says it has completed. Then enjoy. -- iPhone *iPhone* Media Room: Transporter, VTL TL-6.5 Signature Pre-Amp, Ayre MX-R Mono's, VeraStarr 6.4SE 6-channel Amp, Vandersteen Speakers: Quatro Mains, VCC-5 Reference Center, four VSM-1 Signatures, Video: Runco RS 900 CineWide AutoScope 2.35:1 Living Room: Duet, ADCOM GTP-870HD, Cinepro 3K6SE III Gold, Vandersteen Model 3A Signature, Two 2Wq subs, VCC-2, Two VSM-1 Kitchen: Squeezebox BOOM Bedroom: Second Boom Bathroom: Squeezebox Radio Ford Thunderbird: Duet, Mac Mini Ford Expedition: SB Touch, USB drive ------------------------------------------------------------------------ iPhone's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13622 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=78386 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
