Buying speakers (especially more so than all other parts of a system)
without listening to them is just pot luck. Everyone has physically
different hearing capabilities and varying listening sensibilities so
even the most comprehensive review is only going to give you a very
basic idea of how good you would actually find a set of speakers.

I was only trying to urge Rooster to try (if it is at all possible) to
have a listen first. I wasn't dismissing the opinions of the members of
this forum, just saying that their opinions would be much less valuable
than his own if he can manage to go and have a listen for himself.

With regards to the digi/analogue question, that would all depend on
the dac used in the Infrasonic Blow4D. The Touch has quite a good
internal dac and the Infrasonic would need to have really quite a good
dac to improve on it. If the speakers cost about the same, you would be
paying for features on the Infrasonics that you may not need (the dac).
As the Audioengine A2s don't have an internal dac the logic would be
that more money would have been spent on its other components. having
said all that, it really is best to go and listen yourself.
