With Velcro, the wires are still all exposed so why not just a shelf. The whole idea in my mind for even wall mounting the Touch is for a clean install with all wiring hidden in the walls. And somebody said something about it just being cheap plastic, what about the Mold Dye that has to be made and the minimum run of units? There are many more costs then just the small amount of plastic involved with the wall mount itself.
