Question: Should volume control only affect the analog outputs?

- Yes, I don't/wouldn't use the digital outputs anyway
- Yes, I want to use the digital outputs and want them locked at 100%
- Yes (some other reason)
- No, I want variable output for the digital outputs
- No (some other reason)

If you are using a Touch directly to a poweramp, it is a very god idea
to use passive attenuators if the amp is to sensitive, there is a whole
wiki section about it, then the volume will always be in a "safe" range
and if set low the volume will be so low that you want hear the
"damage" .
Ideal attenuation would be like 100% volume will be as loud as you ever
want but not to loud, as in speaker damage or hearing loss :-/

Or better power amps with gain settings so that you can have a correct
gain staging for your system, imho amps that not have this is designed
by morons.
