I have 3 touches (in addition all the other players except the radio). One I just bought so still in box, but the other two have worked flawlessly. My brother's touch has also worked perfectly. Yes, things break and can be bad out of the box, but the TOUCH is no more prone to this than any decent piece of electronic equipment.
