Why not compare using ripped CD's  at 16/44.1 .

There is many of them with good sound-quality ?

It's not necessary an antique dac , it could by a new dac with antique
components ?

Some Weird NOS dacs use some old selected original 16bit multibit dac
chips, combined with other unusual output and i/v stages etc they are
guaranteed to produce a very "different" sound, preferred over actually
trying to reproduce as close to the original signal as possible ? by
some .

The old TDA1543T or similar phillips dac's are prefered.
At their heyday everybody loated them, but now that they are old an
obscure...

For laughs look at 47labs expensive products
