I'm quite keen to get this thread back to the scanning performance issue, because I hadn't realised there were folks who had similar libraries and hardware to me but with scan times that are 10x longer!
I haven't done anything "funky" to my environment to achieve this (other than running 7.6 - and I don't remember it taking more than 1 hour with 7.5.x).
