Probably just an error on the part of whoever put the songs online for you to download.
They're probably the same, with the possible exception of the tagging (metadata). The small file size difference could just be padding in the ID3 tag or one set may have embedded artwork. I would examine each set of files. You could use Squeezebox Server by going into the web interface and drilling down to the song information level. See if the Mp3 encoded bitrates are the same. If one set has a higher bitrate, keep it. If not, go to 'View Tags' and see if one set has more tagging info and keep it. Instead of deleting the set of files that you decide you don't want, save them, just in case. Just make sure you save them outside of your music library. If you keep the set without track numbers in the file names you'll probably want to add track numbers to the names so that they're sorted in order in Windows. -- JJZolx ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JJZolx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=81966 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
