Probably just an error on the part of whoever put the songs online for
you to download.

They're probably the same, with the possible exception of the tagging
(metadata).  The small file size difference could just be padding in
the ID3 tag or one set may have embedded artwork.  I would examine each
set of files.  You could use Squeezebox Server by going into the web
interface and drilling down to the song information level.  See if the
Mp3 encoded bitrates are the same.  If one set has a higher bitrate,
keep it.  If not, go to 'View Tags' and see if one set has more tagging
info and keep it.

Instead of deleting the set of files that you decide you don't want,
save them, just in case.  Just make sure you save them outside of your
music library.  If you keep the set without track numbers in the file
names you'll probably want to add track numbers to the names so that
they're sorted in order in Windows.
