I have been thinking about this Linear PSU issue and thought that $25 was a very reasonable price for an open minded sort of chap to spend on making his own mind up. I hope that none of this offends anyone. I am familiar with the reasons to doubt that a linear psu would make an significant difference to the accuracy with which an external dac will convert the data transmitted by the spdif output of the touch. However I dare say that each of us would if he were honest admit to owning at least one component or accessory that probably doesn't make any difference.
