Hey guys, The unit was only modified to output the proper 5V for the Touch. It was done by my father in law who is an electrical engineer(over 30 years).
The Parts express PS will run warm and it has been recommended that you do not use the touch's USB input(external thumb drive or HD)while using the modded Parts express PS. I know people are on oposite sides of the fence on this topic, but for $25, its worth a listen.
