Your "I work in IT (but have issues with these SqueezeBox network players)" is not an uncommon statement around here. I suppose it speaks to the complexity of the players, networking, computers, internet, etc.. Then we combine all of these complex items to REALLY make things nutty. I say that from the perspective that I do not work in IT. I have four SqueezeBox players including a Touch, three are WiFi, usual firewall's on both computers & router, anti virus, two switches in my network, router handles all DHCP (I don't even understand how to set fixed IP's, even if I needed them), etc.. Yet I don't experience many of the issues seen by IT people. Again, I'm just commenting on the complexity of these setups, *not* your IT knowledge. Someone with your IT background can have serious issues while a computer/networking techno-moron like myself can have a completely different experience. It really is a head scratcher at times.
