I have to agree with those advising the OP to try the AKM4420 DAC fitted to the Touch. I sold the 2 DACs I owned, the Musical Fidelity V-DAC w/ an upgraded linear PS and an MhDT Paradisea. While not a Lavry, these are good DACs. I would also agree w/ bypassing the capacitors on the analog outputs as it constitutes a huge increase in sound quality as claimed. I have a Touch in both my main and bedroom systems and along w/ the SW mods suggested by member Soundcheck and liner regulated PS's that I had from my old SB3's added up to very high quality digital playback at a reasonable price.
