You did a -precisely-volume matched comparison , thats the difference . Many are unaware of that small volume differences less than <0,5dB does not make that objekt percieved as louder or weaker but "better" or different. That more weighty bass and more resolution can be that something is 0.3dB louder. Very few people do that it's not that easy to setup properly.
