I just wanted to add my user experience - I got my Touch up and working with my Bel Canto USB DAC (part of the integrated amp S300iu) within 10 mins following your excellent instructions. Unfortunately, even though the music plays and sounds pretty good, the clicking and popping sounds that others have reported here with other DACs are also occurring with my Touch and the Bel Canto combo. I tried switching to Ethernet from Wifi with no difference. This occurs with both 24/96 and 16/44 FLACs. Have NOT tried to reduce the compression on the FLACs to see if that's the cause - I've had similar popping sounds on my Transporter with the recent firmware 85 which were due to the Transporter running out of CPU resources; this goes away if the FLACs are recompressed at a low level or played as WAVs (which I have not tried here).
