That would depend partly on what operating system you have on your laptop. It also depends what format your files are in, because not all programs can handle all formats (eg, iTunes doesn't handle FLAC at all). Beyond that there are tons of programs that can make playlists -- anything that can save as a .m3u file will do. On Windows some of the more popular are Winamp, foobar2k, iTunes (subject to FLAC limitation noted above), and MusicIP. There's also Songbird, which works on all platforms.
