Me too. However, although it is trivial to write a configurable
tight-loop that burns cpu and memory, it may not do what you would
expect...

It's the same scenario as injecting (electrical) noise into a circuit
in order to disrupt it, testing the hypothesis that noise is the cause
of problems. It turns out you hav to inject a lot of noise before you
get an audible result. This shouldn't be a surprise because the circuit
is designed to reject noise. BUt - it leaves the theory in tatters...
