first, squeezeplay is not a device, so you won't see it there related to sound. In all my installs of squeezeplay on windows machines, I simply install squeezeplay and then give it a name under the menu options (important so I can keep track of what I'm looking at...something like "Gary's Laptop SP"), then on the CHOOSE PLAYER menu option within SP, you MUST choose the SP itself as the player (i.e., I would choose "Gary's Laptop SP" as the player. This is important because the SP can also CONTROL your other SB players if you wish. The SP install should just use your regular soundcard on the computer.
