Also, if you have already ripped all your CDs to FLAC without HDCD decoding, dbPoweramp has a batch mode that allows you to "recode" all your FLACs with the HDCD decoder.
I did this on about 450 CDs that I had already ripped. It ran for a few hours over night and now I don't have to think about it any more. All my new CDs are of course ripped with the HDCD decoder enabled.
