Same for me. I've come to try arcam rDac on an ARM plugcomputer (Seagate Dockstar) with Debian Squeeze distro. aplay -l **** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices **** card 0: DAC [ARCAM DAC], device 0: USB Audio [USB Audio] Subdevices: 1/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 aplay -L The rDac is seen as hw:0,0 because when modprobe the snd-usb-audio module there is as option: options snd_usb_audio index=0 Using: aplay -D hw:0,0 test.wav gives: aplay: set_params:1053: Sample format non available Available formats: - S24_3LE and using: aplay -D plughw:0,0 test.wav gives: Playing WAVE 'test.wav' : Signed 16 bit Little Endian, Rate 44100 Hz, Stereo underrun!!! (at least 0,010 ms long) underrun!!! (at least 0,013 ms long) underrun!!! (at least 0,006 ms long)... ... and no sound. :( No luck because I've also tried before the HRT II+ with firmware 1.4 without success. I had issues with the usb port (probably power): sound vanished randomly after few seconds or half a minute when playing. So I would be glad to know if someone can manage to get this little arcam rDac working under Linux. -- Sagittarius ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Sagittarius's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=44523 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=82110 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
