I have attached (hope attachment works!) a file that may help solve the issue with USB dacs and alsa device numbering. This is a UDEV filter based on info found here: http://alsa.opensrc.org/Udev. I have tried to describe HowTo in the file. For the HRT II+ you'll need to update firmware to v1.5.
