An interesting possibility. What's strange though is that I can use MediaMonkey on my laptop, which indexed my several thousand HI-RES track collection with no problem and plays it from the NAS to the laptop with no problem.
Is it that Squeezebox's server is just very inefficiently coded and that's where the problem lies rather than with the NAS hardware specs? Thanks.
