I wonder if somebody is able to help me? I bought my squeezebox touch in May 2010. It set up immediately and has worked perfectly until now.
There was a power outage during the night two days ago and now the player will not connect to the server software. I've tried everything - returning to factory defaults, uninstalling and reinstalling the 7.5.4 server software, resetting the router and turning off and turning back on everything in sequence but nothing works! I'm running Win7 home premiuim 64bit with a Belkin N router. The player appears on the router's DHCP list and the relevant ports are open - as I said, the setup has worked perfectly for a year! However, the player cannot see the server software and if you open the web based control of the server software it can't see the player. The strange thing is, by logging onto mysqueezebox.com and selecting the 'player' tab - the player is seen and it says 'connected'!! This is driving me mad and I feel like I've hit a brick wall in terms of anything I can do to rectify the situation. Does anybody have any suggestions or should I contact tech support?
