I'm new to this forum-- and squeezebox in general-- but this seemed to be an appropriate thread.
I have just purchased a Touch. My computer lacks sufficient storage to stream all the FLAC files I've accumulated and which are currently spread over multiple external hard-drives. I tried attaching a WD 2TB Hard-drive to the Touch... but its file format claimed not to be supported... and re-formatting the drive thereby losing the content is not a desirable option. Thus I have been trying to research NAS servers. Is this recommended as the best way to store/back-up files to play to the Touch? I can't seem to make the USB direct link work... and would solely use the NAS to stream music.... Is the Netgear ReadyNas line of storage still recommended? Remember... this can't be too complicated cause I really am not very good with computers! LOL Thanks for any advice. -- LJG ------------------------------------------------------------------------ LJG's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=47925 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=87646 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
