I'm just overdoing stuff sometimes I always used ssh to my
touch/controlle/radio due to not wanting to turn off dhcp i found that
simple to do. it is stupid that you have to turn off dhcp to get Touch
to give you posibilities to use static ip, it just plain stupid design
no more no less.
but maybe you can change network withput factory reset lately , what
happens nowdays if go to the network menu and tries to conect it to a
network ? i think it has improved so that network setup can be used
without a factory reset ?

your advice better and simplier than mine here.

i would maybe set up the dhcp range in the router to avoid the ones
used by Toch and syno, so they reconect without conflicts when op lugs
it back to his network to move some more files to it.
