I have both. My system may or may not be revealing enough, and at my
age, my hearing is certainly not the greatest, particularly for high
frequencies. But I see no real quality difference between the
transporter vs a TOUCH > Benchmark DAC.  This said, I really like the
idea of the transporter....good power supply, excellent DAC, and all in
one unit, so no issues related to connecting the player to the DAC via
S/PDIF, optical, etc.

but....if I had not already owned the Transporter before the Touch was
released, I likely would not have purchased the Transporter.
